The Applied Research and Policy Institute and its sister organization, the Veterans Policy Leadership Institute, work with a variety of state, county and local government partners as well as community based organizations and nonprofits. ARPI and VPLI partner with graduate students and researchers at the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) and the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). By working with these two institutions of higher education, we are leveraging existing intellectual, research and academic assets to develop, replicate and scale cutting edge systems change work to improve the lives of Nevadans, and to scale models that work across the country.
